The Mog Champ sends his regards. I've visited Brisbane a few times already and this morning a friend who lives nearby recommended this bakery for a light snack. Their selection looked extremely fresh and well-done. I also liked how their interior is decorated, very neat and compact. I ordered a cardamom custard scroll which was apparently one of their most popular selections. It definitely did not disappoint when I had it right outside, such freshly baked sweetness - I didn't know cinnamon and custard could go so well together! If I'm ever back here, I would want to try whatever else they're selling because on display, all of them looked amazing. I'm no professional bakery reviewer, but I do recommend anyone into quality bakeries to come check out Sprout! Those guys deserve more attention! Thanks for a quick and light breakfast Sprout! I am devastated that Sprout is moving from James street to a new location. Every single thing is delicious and their breakfast danish and coffee is the best way to start the weekend. The sweet treats are definitely worth following the welcoming team to their new location.

AMAZING. Loved this sooo much. Tried the cardamom custard scroll ($8.50) and savoury danish ($9.50) and both were amazing. Pastry was flaky, flavours were good and this is probably my favourite bakery in Brisbane so far. Would definitely be back to try their other pastries.

I have been to so many patisseries and specialty bakeries across Brisbane but Sprout continues to be at the top of my favorites. Their Brioche crumble is simply divine with a soft and buttery brioche dough and a heart of custard. The quality of their pastries is consistently good. Don't sleep on their coffee as well! I love it theirs is just perfect.

I’ve been a regular customer for a long time - first at James Street and now at Albion - and I keep coming back for the Miche loaf, which is consistently delicious. Last week the almond croissant was the best one I’ve ever had 😋😋😋 Livy, the store manager, is delightful and always makes me feel so welcome - love her energy and it is so apparent she loves her job. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jo Sarmiento

📍Sprout Artisan Bakery, 76 James St, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006 Here’s another sweet spot to add to your list!❤️I honestly had such a hard time choosing — their pastry selection was seriously tempting, everything looked incredible. I love a good apple danish from time to time, so I decided to try their apple danish first and I was amazed🥰 They had fresh glazed apple slices and nuts on top. I was really satisfied.

I had the seasonal fruit tart and it was very nice. The bakery has lots of pastries options. Will come back to try other ones. Next time I will try the savoury items. Coffee was well made too.
